Swanky Hotel ~ glass of something , 2002
~ A musical project I did with Cole Wheeler (guitar), Francine Wheeler (lead vocals and keyboards) We wanted to make an album that put together thought provoking lyrical content with edgy, folk-tinged rock. We recorded this over a summer while Francine was pregnant with her first child. I had moved to W. 82nd Street and had a bigger studio space and a bigger DAW (Roland's 1680) and thought that we shoud give it a go by recording a full length CD. In order to get the drum tracks we all hopped in the car and sped up to Meriden, CT to a friend's drum studio where Justin Hines recorded all 10 drum tracks in a single session - what a pro. My contributions to the album are tracks 1 & 7... enjoy!
