A little bit about the author…
Darryl Gregory, composer/performer, moved to NYC in 1991 from Ohio and has since composed for various ensembles in styles ranging from school band pieces to music for Indonesian gamelan. He currently performs with his world music ensemble, SaReel Project and plays guitar with his band DaZa. Darryl has composed scores and sound design for productions of Much Ado About Nothing and Twelfth Night, “How to Ride Rollercoasters” a one woman play by Tina Lee and for the Praxis Theatre productions of two Karen Sunde plays “How His Wife Came to Abraham” and “Fastest Woman Alive”. Besides teaching music to middle school aged kids he owns and operates Blue Cave Studios, a home-based project studio catering to singer/songwriters and other small ensembles. He currently resides in the quiet woods of Connecticut with his wife and son.
